Welcome to the North Brisbane Suzuki 4x4 Club Forum! Hopefully you will find this site usefull.

FAQs section
You have already found the FAQ section! This section mainly contains information about the forum. Any information about vehicle problems, tech, trips can be found in their own sections.

New forum registrations:
To register on the forum click on this link and follow the process:

If you have any issues with the registration process you can send an email to:
website @ nbs4x4club.com (remove the spaces)

If you know what you're after you can hit the forum straight away and post info or ask questions.


Your Forum Profile:
Once you've registered and logged in to you account you can modify your profile. There is a profile button in the menu or you can click here:

In your profile page you have a menu which you can go through and change different things, like avatar, custom title, website and signature.

Your Avatar
No questionable avatars will be allowed, this means no adult content or bad taste pictures for avatars.

Forum Signatures
Your signature is text that appears under each of your posts. We have automatic limits on signatures. 5 lines, no images, text size 5. The [ url ] tag is allowed.


Introduce yourself!
If you'd like to introduce yourself and tell us about your vehicle go to the "Show Us Your Rig" section and start a "New Topic". Tell us as much or as little as you feel comfortable with. Don't be shy!

General Chat
Feel free to talk about most things in this board. This is a family orientated website so try keep things fairly mature.

Trips & Pics
Anyone can make a new thread in the Trips and Pics section. Please put the location and date in the title so people know if it's an old past event or if it's coming up.
Official club events will have the "Club Event" Icon beside the title
The club members also organise non official events which may be open to anyone. Check each event for indivdual requirements.

Tech Section:
If you have a problem with your Suzuki, feel free to start a New Topic in the Tech Chat section, hopefully someone will be able to help out.

For Sale/Wanted:
If you'd like to sell or want something, post as much information as you can. Photos help alot too.

Uploading Photos to your post
Club Members can attach photos to their posts on the forum by clicking the "Additional Options" link, then "Browse" under the text box when you make a post. . Non club members have to store photos elsewhere and link to them.


Business Advertising:
Business advertising is allowed in your signature even if you're not a club member.
Club members are allowed to advertise their business on the forum outside of signatures if they first consult the club committee.
If any users just jump on and start pushing all their gear, their threads might be deleted, so best to check first.
The forum is paid for by club members and is for use by the club members and other people that are interested in the club.
It's not here for people or businesses to push their own private agenda, products or business servces.

Trolls/Trouble Makers!
No personal attacks will be tolerated. If you have a personal problem with someone we don't need to see it on our forum.
People that cause trouble on forums are called Trolls. No abuse or fights will be tolerated. Posts that contain abuse will be deleted. We keep things positive here, so anyone that intentionally causes trouble will be removed.

Swearing
This is a family oriented forum with high standards. We don't allow any swearing.

Features:

Events Calendar: ANYONE - club members AND non members can add events to the event calendar. Once you submit an event it has to be approved before publishing.

Club Info: This section contains all the information about the club. History, Committee Information, Membership Info & Meeting Info with Location Map http://nbs4x4club.com/index.php/club-info

Trip Reports: Club Members can Submit Articles. This means club members are able to submit trip reports, news or info to the website and they will be published on the front website. Articles will be reviewed and approved usually within 24hours. http://nbs4x4club.com/index.php/club-camps

Photo Gallery, Club Members can upload photos to different categories. This is not set up as individual user albums, but more like community albums which members can contribute to. Photos will be reviewed and approved usually within 24hours. http://nbs4x4club.com/index.php/photogallery

Contact Us: This is a list of Committee Members, you can click on their names and that will bring up a Contact Form so you can send that person an email. http://nbs4x4club.com/index.php/club-info

User Accounts: The front website uses a different system to the forum. For members to use the front website and submit photos and articles, you must create a new account on the front website http://nbs4x4club.com/index.php/component/content/article/1-latest-news/64-create-an-account
