I have a tank out of an lj81 which is probably servicable. ie small dent which will probably blow out with compressed air.  any one know if they are the same as the 80?

Tank is the same BUT the filler neck is in a different spot. The original LJ81 Tanks are very rare to get now. It may be a LJ80 tank anyway. Pics will help.

I gave up waiting for a good tank this week 2stroke and took mine to a radiator repair to be repaired. I don't know how they will go but I could be still interested in yours. What would you want for it.

Yeah, I'm finally getting to a stage where I can imagine driving it down the road.  Roll Eyes Ive nearly finished repairing the fibreglass windscreen surround so I will be pulling out the spray paint gear shortly for the last time. Then I will move it over to Lances shed to do whatever it takes to get it road legal. I think if I spent a week straight on it , it would be good to go.

No, Its a great project; and it has a great heart, as well.
Thats actually brilliant, the music is. Its certain to keep fading interest "three little birds" would be good, too.

I didnt mean to point fingers - all things have context.
Apparently, nobody could come up with meaningful c&c ;so we just rambled and picked on nothing at all.
Ill give it another try in the morning its 4am here, and I still have a days work to go; maybe I can come up with something good.
