Run now open to non members. We have 8 places open to start with but may have more if we can get more members along.

Can members on current list please advise if they are still available on the 8th Aug, and we still need more members to come along to allow more non-members to get out and experience what NBS is all about Thubs Up[/b][/color]

RE: Glasshouse Mtn Non-Members Run on Sunday, 8th August.

Guys....

Just getting in early to determine Club Member interest in this Non-Members run.....

We have our 2nd Non-Members run under the "New" format coming up early August. With the success of the previous one, we can hopefully expect another good turn out.  Learning experiences from last time was that we need to determine people's vehicle abilites & their 4WD experience. From here we can hopefully split them up into groups according to their vehicle/skill levels.... If we get more of one group than the other, then we will need to meet that need via more experienced Club Members as well. It has also been suggested  that we have different intial meeting locations as well to help limit any mix-up of the groups...

Again with this Non-Members Run we want to have 3 groups(more if req'd) of 5 cars (approx) in each with each group having a "experienced" member as the Trip Leader and another "not so experienced" member as "Tail-end charlie". The other 3 positions will be made up of Non-Members.
Again, running it this way we will hopefully be able to give a bit more of a "personal" touch to these Non-Member Runs where we can show the new non-members the various techniques in 4wdriving, wheel placement, key starts, etc. The 3 groups would head off in different directions and meet up at the end of the day to reflect on the days experiences.
A knowledge of the area would be helpful but not a requirement as recces prior to the date can be arranged.

For this all to work and come together, we need the support of the Club Members to get involved...... So please consider getting involved and set this date aside to help out Thubs Up

Please PM me or POST your interest - WE NEED at least 3 TRIP/GROUP LEADERS Thubs Up

The sooner we can get an idea of how many Club Members can come, the sooner we can list this on the Open Forum to gauge Non-Member interest.....
 cheers
Ben (Bluezook)

    Hey mate

Me and my mate were wondering if you had two spots free? I have a 96 Sierra Hardtop and he has an 89 soft top? We are new to Glass house mountains tracks and thus would be great to know what we need for the day? Can you please get back to me? And meeting details?

Hey mate, I've put you on a reserve list for now as there are a couple of guys that need to confirm in or out. I'll work out tonight the exact numbers and let you know.

    Hey Kach...

Yes it is easy to find... Just use Google Earth or Maps to locate it. It's on Glasshouse-Woodford Road.

I believe Sierra.666 (Dave) is also coming (i think) and he also is coming from the Gold Coast area so u may be able to hook up with him..... Give him a PM to see if he is coming Thubs Up
