Also while im doing all the bits to the car, might as well do the timing belt.
Is it pretty straight forward on the Sierra?  anything i need to know before i start??
Thanks

It would have been leaf as it's the easiest to set up and get right.  Also could have been done using a Bundy front diff with control arms rather then a link arrange.

I wouldn't consider downgrading to a Sierra..... unless it was purely for offroading/hardcore 4wdriving and wasn't really used as a everyday car, then a Sierra may be an option....

This coming from a man who has a LWB sierra in his shed, neglected for how long? because he's too afraid to get the sierra on the tracks only to find it so much more fun and more capable then the vitara.

dam that sucks.. im kinda getting over the whole independant front end.. thinking of changing to the dark sideeee haha what do you guys think?? vitara or sierra??

Stick with the Vitara mate..... I haven't had any worries with the IFS and I've always had the Solid Front Front Cruisers b4..... If you're worried about the limited wheel travel in the front, then look at a Air Locker in the front.... With the coil rear end u can get some pretty good out of the rear.... Comfort wise (ie Power Steering; better ride; A/C; more comfort for passengers, etc) I wouldn't consider downgrading to a Sierra..... unless it was purely for offroading/hardcore 4wdriving and wasn't really used as a everyday car, then a Sierra may be an option....

(let the war of vit vs sierra begin.... again  Tongue  ROFL  ROFL)
